The rooster, a French emblematic animal, can also be found in the plates. This local dish is an alternative of the Burgundy beef, so it is as well made with red wine. Some French kind of bacon called « Lardons », mushrooms, onions and carrots are added. After a few hours simmering with all these ingredients, the rooster will be ready to be eaten.
