A Discovery cruise will take 1 hour while a lunch or dinner cruise may take up to 2:30h. According to the company you take, the starting point of the river cruise is different, but you will always disembark at the same point where you started. Most of the cruises will leave from either the Eiffel Tower or Notre-Dame. Be prepared to see amazing views and to spend incredible time on the Seine river.

Audioguides and speakers are available on board of the discovery cruise, so you will be able to learn about Paris’ history while marveling at their gorgeous facades. You can have a quick snack or a glass of champagne on board of the Seine river cruise. You could prefer to discover the historical center of Paris while enjoying a meal on board. As we said before, the services offered may differ depending on the company, as well as the service quality and the prices. Tickets are valid for between 24 and 72 hours depending on which service you utilize, and there is no limit on how many times you can get back onto the bus.

Buses run every day from 9:30 AM – 6 PM.  Buses run roughly every 30 minutes at each stop. To experience a complete route back to your start point, you should hop-on prior to 5 PM; tours after 5 PM end at the Trocadero.


L’Open ToursBus Tour Paris

L’Open Tour is an affiliate of Grayline Bus Tours in Paris. Their hop-on, hop-off service offers four different routes and has a total of 50 different stops that take visitors to see over 100 notable sits in Paris. With almost four times as many stops as Big Bus Tours, L’Open definitely gives them a good run in their money. If you want to visit as many as sites as possible, this will be the best choice. Just keep in mind that if you want to visit all of the sites on this bus tours, you may want to book a 2-day tour in order to see everything you want.

Buses run every day from 9:30 – 7:00pm except Yellow line runs from 9:00 AM –  6:40 PM. In winter, buses will end earlier until 5:30 PM. Buses run roughly every 15 minutes at each stop in summer time and every 25 minutes in winter.


 Foxityhop-on hop-off tours

These orange and white bus tour is the least expensive option among all hop-on hop-off bus tours in Paris. It will particularly be a great choice for families because it offers a free ticket for one child with one adult. If you are traveling with kids, you will definitely save more than other bus tours. And this might even be one of the most affordable form of transportation in the city for a large size of family. Although Foxity may be more budget friendly than other competitors, it offers fewer stops. Therefore, please check the routes before purchasing any tickets and make sure it can take you to the places you want to visit. Those who enjoyed their trip reported that the experience was both affordable and effective for seeing most of the significant sights in Paris.

With this pass, you can get on and get off wherever you want and as often as you want. During the tour, there are 9 stops that you can get off and they are all close to Paris’s main monuments and famous districts. Instead of traveling on the road, Batobus offers you a brand new way to explore the city.


Eiffel Tower, Musée d’Orsay, St-Germain-des-Prés, Notre-Dame, Jardin des Plantes/Cité de la Mode et du Design, Hôtel-de-ville, Louvre, Champs-Élysées and Beaugrenelle.

Operational hours:

In the winter, Batobus runs from 10am – 5 pm from Monday to Thursday, 10am – 7pm from Friday to Sunday. It comes every 40 minutes at each stops. In the summertime, it runs from 10am – 9:30pm and it comes every 25 minutes.
