Paris is well known for being the capital of fashion: the greatest French designers are based there, whether they have their headquarters or their many shops. Of course, fashion in Paris, it’s firstly fashion houses, those that attract enthusiasts worldwide: Louis Vuitton on the Champs Elysées, or the luxury boutiques installed along the Avenue Montaigne, in the Triangle d’or Parisien: Chanel, Christian Dior. Galeries Lafayette

Since its creation in 1894, les Galeries Lafayette Haussmann has become a true Parisian icon and an essential place to visit in the city. The Art-Nouveau cupola overlooks the 65,000 meters of retail space devoted to fashion and is comprised of three buildings with more than 2500 brands from around the world ranging from accessible to luxury , and there are also 25 restaurants.
Printemps Haussmann
Credit: Flickr.comLe Printemps Haussmann is a huge store located at the 9th district of Paris(next to Les Galeries Lafayette). You can find the principal brands of fashion, luxury and beauty. They are divided by themes in the three buildings of the shop (25 floors and 44 000 square meter in total).

Le Bon Marché

This unique building, designed by architect Louis Charles Boileau and by engineer Gustave Eiffel, displays a façade that was both unique and innovative for its time. There is something there for everyone’s taste: men’s, women’s and children’s fashion, accessories, culinary art and design pieces.
BHV
Le Bazar de l’Hôtel de ville or BHV, officially BHV Marais since 2013, is a big department store belonging to the Galeries Lafayette group. It is situated in the 4th district in front of the city hall. While it is more known for its fashion stores, you can also find a wide selection of tools and gadgets perfect for your DIY projects.
