Day 1 – Explore Paris StreetsQuick walk around Notre Dame cathedral in the historical center
Start your day with a quick city walk in the historical area of Paris (Notre Dame cathedral, Ile de la Cité, Seine banks). Following your leisurely stroll, you can go on a 2 hour guided-tour by bus, bike, or electric or classic car. You will discover the old streets of Paris and see the main monuments, from the Eiffel Tower to Pont des Arts. Don’t forget to take many pictures.
For lunch, go to a café, brasserie or wine bar. After lunch, you may want to visit Paris’ most famous monument, the Eiffel Tower. Continue your day with another city walk through the Latin Quarter and Saint Germain where you can discover secret libraries, statues, and Paris’ classic buildings.
In the evening, have dinner in a typical brasserie: choose a three meal course, including starter, main course and dessert. It will give you a good experience of French cuisine. After dinner, go to a cabaret, such as Moulin Rouge or Crazy Horse and enjoy the show.
Day 2 – Visit the Louvre MuseumVisit Louvre museum in Paris
Start your day by visiting the world’s largest museum. If you can arrange a tour or find a guided tour, it might be better for you. Take time to see the masterpieces, such as the Mona Lisa, the Raft of the Medusa and the Venus de Milo, and just wander among the sculptures, paintings and artifacts.
After lunch, in or around the wonderful Tuileries gardens, take an hour cruise on the Seine and admire the main monuments from the river: Eiffel tower, Notre Dame, Conciergerie, Pont des Arts, Pont Alexander III and much more.
For the afternoon, take a city walk in Montmartre neighborhood: go to the famous tiny Place du Tertre (where the painters are), visit the Sacré Coeur basilica, see the old streets and explore the Dali museum.
Day 3 – Artists and philosophersVisit Sacré Coeur Basilica and enjoy a nice wlak in Montmartre
Start with a city walk in the neighbourhood of artists and philosophers, Saint-Germain and the Latin Quarter. If you walk through some of the small, old streets, you might be able to find some of Paris’ secret libraries.
After you have explored the quarter, visit Musée du Rodin, to admire the work of the artist and sculptor, Auguste Rodin, in the beautiful 1730 Hôtel Biron – one of the most peaceful places in central Paris and a wonderful spot to contemplate his famous work, The Thinker.
In the afternoon, go shop on the Champs Elysées, also known as the most beautiful avenue in the world. Definitely visit La Durée to buy a couple of, if not a few, macarons. Walk further down the street to Avenue Montaigne to do some window shopping at stores such as Louis Vuitton, Channel and Yves Saint Laurent.
In the late afternoon, do something different and go to an original tour of the Père Lachaise cemetery. Yes, a tiny cemetery that will allow you to walk along graves of Jim Morrison, Edith Piaf and Oscar Wilde, among others. A guided tour will lead you through the alleys and help you remember the famous people buried there.
