The Exotic Garden of Monaco has a unique collection of succulent plants, as well as an old prehistoric cave: from this garden, you can enjoy the most beautiful view over the city!
The Exotic Garden of Monaco is a unique botanical garden situated on a Cliffside. It was built by Albert I, Prince of Monaco in 1912, thanks to the help of Louis Notari (the Chief Engineer) and directed by the French agronomist Louis Vatrican.
There, you can find several species of succulent plants – such as cactus – and other particular plants which will delight those who are interested in botany. From the Garden you can enjoy a great view over the city and the Mediterranean sea. Don’t forget to visit the natural cave – only with a specialized guide – and the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology!
