A tasty cuisine, a friendly welcome, an interesting wine menu (you can order by the glass) and attractive prices. We recommend that you book in advance !

LE PETIT SUD-OUEST – 46 avenue de La Bourdonnais, 75007 Paris. +33 1 45 55 59 59. Regional cuisine. Suitable for both lunch and dinner. Website in English here 
Ideally located a few blocks away from the Eiffel tower, it is the greatest place to discover the tasty south-western gastronomy, with its specialities evolving around the duck (don’t miss the  famous “foie gras cru” and the delicious “Magret” with ceps). The chef Christian and his wife Chantal are not only the most welcoming hosts, but they will also give you useful advice to choose the best wine to go with your meal. Book in advance !

MICHEL ROSTANG – 20 rue Rennequin, 75017 Paris. +33 1 47 63 40 77. French cuisine, stared. Suitable for both lunch and dinner. Website in English here. Book in advance.
A subtle, delicate and inventive cuisine, as their website advertise ! The dressing only of the plates is a pleasure for the eyes. Book in advance and if possible, ask to be placed in the rotunda.

GUY SAVOY – 18 rue Troyon, 75017 Paris. +33 1 43 80 40 61. French cuisine, stared. For both lunch and dinner. Website in English here. Book in advance (1 table each day is dedicated to last-minute decision-makers, you can try your luck, but you have no guarantee…).
Close to the Arc of Triomphe. A delight for your palate. Don’t miss their artichoke and black truffle soup (the first time we discovered it, we asked twice for a refill !) The famous iced poached oysters are a must-try as well. As for the main course, the salmon frozen on ice is unbelievable…

LES PETITS PLATS – 39 rue des Plantes, 75014 Paris – +33 1 45 42 50 52. Brasserie. Ideal for lunch, suitable for dinner. Book in advance.
Nice little restaurant, mostly frequented at lunch by people working in the area. The dishes are simple and tasty, the price are very reasonable.

LA FERMETTE MARBOEUF – 5 rue Marboeuf, 75008 Paris – +33 1 53 23 08 00. French cuisine. For both lunch and dinner. Open daily from 12:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Website in English here. Advised to book in advance.
Ideally located within the famous Golden Triangle, this restaurant is mainly interesting for the beautiful Art Nouveau setting. When booking, ask for a table in the room at the back of the restaurant, under the glass roof. The  restaurant offers an interesting Menu Degustation in 5 courses for 51€50.

THE BROKEN ARM 12, rue Perrée, 75003 Paris – +33 (0)1 44 61 53 60. Café. For a brunch, a quick lunch or a coffee break. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Website here
Facing a little public garden, the Broken Arm is a funny place offering both a place where to have one’s coffee and a place where to shop at the eclectic and trendy boutique near door. Tasty sandwiches for lunch.  Boutique open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (same days as the café).

ACTIVITIES

Jogging around the lakes : do you want to combine sports and discovery, and to have the impression to be in Paris like a real Parisian ? Do not forget your trainers,  and go for a jog around the lakes in the Bois de Boulogne on a Sunday morning !
